Beside the Miss Tri-Cities Pageant, the other special event for the month was a personal appearance by Jen Lasher, a vocalist/DJ who is getting some well-deserved attention in the upper levels of her area.
Another special event was an on-stage proposal of marriage.
This couple met at Newbies several years ago and wanted
Newbies to be the place where it became "official".
